CAPTAIN NATE
Nate holds a degree in marine biology and has spent the past 15 years working on the water off Southern California, with much of that time spent around the Channel Islands. His academic background in marine biology shapes the way he guides every trip, giving guests a deeper understanding of the marine life, currents, and ecosystems that make our coastline unique. Whether he’s pointing out a pod of dolphins riding the bow wake or explaining the behavior of a passing whale, Nate brings both hands-on experience and scientific knowledge to every tour.

CAPTAIN ANDREW
Andrew is a certified naturalist who has spent the past 10 years working around whales in Alaska, Monterey, and San Diego, including significant time spent up and down the Inside Passage. That range of experience gives him a broad, firsthand understanding of marine life along the West Coast and beyond. Andrew loves sharing that knowledge with guests, helping them spot and understand the whales, dolphins, and other wildlife we encounter on the water.
CAPTAIN CHRIS
Chris grew up on the ocean around San Diego and Oceanside and has spent his whole life on the water off our coast. He is a certified naturalist with an intimate, lifelong familiarity with these local waters, from the kelp forests to the open coastline. That local knowledge means Chris knows where to look and what to expect on any given day, giving guests an authentic, insider’s view of the marine life and scenery that make this stretch of coast special.
